2021 VINEYARD WIND SPRING TRAWL SURVEY (#38)

OFFSHORE WIND MARINER UPDATE NO. 38

STATUS: Complete

During the month of May, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s School for Marine Science and Technology (SMAST) is conducting multiple fisheries trawl surveys following the Northeast Area Monitoring Assessment Program (NEAMAP) protocols within the Vineyard Wind Lease Areas (501 North; 501 South; 522) and a control area (see attached chart). 20 tows in each will be performed in lease area 501 North and the adjacent control area. 10 tows will be performed in lease area 501 South and 10 tows will be performed in lease area 522.

 
DATES(S): Multiple trips starting May 3rd until May 22nd
