SCOTT AMBROSIA
Scott Ambrosia is Vineyard Wind’s Permitting and Development Manager. He provides technical support associated with Vineyard Wind 1’s project development, fishery survey compliance management, project compliance, local workforce development, federal and state permitting, environmental affairs, and all other activities related to the development of the Vineyard Wind 1 project. Among his other duties, Scott prides himself in being the Vineyard Wind 1 Intern Program Manager and is responsible for the overall execution of the Vineyard Wind 1 Intern Program.
He started with Vineyard Wind in 2019 as Vineyard Wind intern, which he applied through the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center Internship Program. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Minor in Natural Resource Conservation with a concentration in Fishery Science and Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He has continued his education in the industry and has completed “The University of Delaware Offshore Wind Skills Academy – Project Development from A-to-Z” course. Scott is a third-generation recreational fisherman from Point Judith, Rhode Island and enjoys fishing trips near the Block Island wind turbines. He is also a huge New England sports fan and loves to spend his free time outdoors and on the ocean.
