SHEARWATER VIBRACORE ACQUISITION OPERATIONS (#49)

OFFSHORE WIND MARINER UPDATE NO. 49

STATUS: Complete

The R/V SHEARWATER a 109’ research vessel will be acquiring vibracores at 31 locations within the Vineyard Wind Offshore Export Cable Corridor, through Nantucket Sound and Muskeget Channel. The vessel is planning on beginning operations on or about the 13th of September 2021 weather permitting. Operations are expected to be completed within 1 week of start time. The 32’ F/V CHICAWA will be serving as a Scout Vessel during this project.
