PRE-LAY GRAPNEL RUN (PLGR)

Offshore wind mariner update NO. 104

STATUS: Active

Beginning on or around July 3rd, 2024, the GO SEEKER will be performing a pre-lay grapnel run (PLGR) along the inter-array cable routes in OCS-A 501 lease area to ensure no new debris has fallen on the site. The PLGR activity involves the GO SEEKER towing a grapnel train over the seabed (extending 150m behind the vessel) along the inter-array cable routes. The speed of the vessel towing the grapnel train shall not exceed 1 (one) knot. The survey operations, weather permitting, will take approximately 3 weeks.
