INTER-ARRAY CABLE ROUTE PRE-LAY GRAPNEL RUN (#88)

OFFSHORE WIND MARINER UPDATE NO. 88

STATUS: Active

Beginning on or around July 31st, 2023, the GO AMERICA will be performing a pre-lay grapnel run (PLGR) along the inter-array cable routes in OCS-A 501 lease area to ensure no new debris has fallen on the site. The PLGR activity involves the GO AMERICA towing a grapnel train over the seabed (extending 150m behind the vessel) along the inter-array cable routes. The speed of the vessel towing the grapnel train shall not exceed 1 (one) knot. The survey operations, weather permitting, will take approximately 3 weeks.

LOCATION(S): In the vicinity of inter-array cables in OCS-A 501 lease area (See attached chart).
