MARCUS CROSS

Marcus Cross is a Project Manager working for Vineyard Wind. Marcus has more than 10 years of experience in the offshore wind industry and has worked on multiple commercial scale projects in Europe and US for Avangrid Renewables, Orsted and ScottishPower Renewables. With a principal focus on project development, complimented with experience in due diligence, project execution, operation through to decommissioning Marcus brings a wealth of knowledge to the Vineyard Wind team. He has a PhD in Marine Biology from the University of Ulster and completed his PostDoc in Fisheries Management at Liverpool University. Marcus is based in Boston, MA with his wife and two children.

JENNIFER CULLEN

Jennifer Cullen, Senior Manager of Labor Relations & Workforce Development, works to implement offshore wind workforce development programs to ensure a locally trained and qualified workforce and domestic supply chain for offshore wind. Previously, she spent over 10 years in the nonprofit sector, advocating for policies to promote clean energy and clean water in communities throughout the US.

Jen is originally from Cape Cod and has extensive experience working to build support for offshore wind in the community. She holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and French from the University of Vermont and a Master’s degree in Communications from Boston University.

Rose DeCosta, External Affairs Manager, is a community and stakeholder engagement specialist with a background in government and public policy including renewable energy policy. Prior to Vineyard Wind, she held several senior staff roles in the Massachusetts Senate including Deputy Chief of Staff to the Senate President where she worked on the 2016 Energy Diversity Act and the award-winning restoration of the historic Senate Chamber. Raised on Cape Cod and currently residing in Plymouth, Rose holds a bachelor’s of science in management and political science from Simmons University.

Tiffany Ferreira, Development Operations Manager, is engaged in numerous permitting, stakeholder, and project development matters. Tiffany spent many years in the renewable energy industry including with a solar developer, permitting both residential and commercial scale projects. She earned dual bachelor’s of science degrees in math and physics from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and is currently working on her Ph.D. in engineering and applied science with a specialization in computer science and engineering, also at UMass Dartmouth. Tiffany resides in New Bedford and is a strong advocate for women in STEM careers.

ELIZABETH MARSJANIK

Elizabeth Marsjanik, Manager of Environmental Affairs, oversees environmental permitting and compliance. Elizabeth is a marine biologist with expertise in marine ecology and marine affairs. Focused on advancing marine technologies for protected species, Elizabeth collaborates with the science community and other stakeholders for responsible offshore wind development. Elizabeth joined Vineyard Wind with a decade of environmental permitting and regulatory compliance experience in the energy and utility industry. Elizabeth started her career in the renewable energy industry researching algae for biofuel development at a local R&D laboratory. As a marine biologist, Elizabeth has expertise in phycology, marine invertebrate physiology, aquaculture, and elasmobranch biology.

Elizabeth was born and raised in Southeastern Massachusetts and currently resides in Mashpee on Cape Cod. Ms. Marsjanik is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Marine Biology and Marine Affairs.

CAELA HOWARD

Fisheries Liaison Caela Howard joined Vineyard Wind in 2019 and focuses on communicating with members of the commercial fishing industry and other fisheries stakeholders in Southern New England.Most recently, Caela worked alongside the Fleet Manager at the Town Dock in Narragansett, RI where she helped lead work on fishing fleets certificates, licenses and state and government reporting. Prior to that she worked as a contracted portside biological sampler for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in the ports of New Bedford, MA and Point Judith, RI. Her career working with the fishing industry began with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s Marine Division in 2009 where she logged extensive boat hours seining, trawling, gill netting and drift netting. She also worked on various research projects including work to analyze juvenile Shad and River Herring, and endangered Shortnose and Atlantic Sturgeon in the Connecticut and Thames Rivers and Long Island Sound.

Caela holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a masters in Environmental Management. She grew up in Clinton, CT and currently resides in Ledyard, CT with her husband and two children.

NATHANIEL MAYO

Nathaniel Mayo is Vineyard Wind’s Director of Public Affairs. He oversees local policy issues for Vineyard Wind, heading outreach and coordination efforts with various stakeholders and works on permitting efforts at the state, regional and local level.

Nate is a life-long Cape Codder with over a decade in public policy and community engagement, having worked on environmental, energy and fisheries issues. He worked for U.S. Congressman William Delahunt and served as legislative director to former Cape and Islands State Sen. Robert O’Leary. He holds a MA in Environmental Policy from Tufts University, and serves as vice-chair of the Conservation Commission in Provincetown.

Business Analyst Dawn Miller started with Vineyard Wind in January 2017 as Office Manager/Accounts Payable Specialist. Dawn currently supports the development team in a variety of ways including budgeting, and interfacing with vendors. She holds a bachelor’s of science fromBryant University.

Dawn lives near CapeCod and enjoys time lakeside with her family and friends.

ANDIE PAINTEN

Andie joined Vineyard Wind in 2019 through the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center internship program. As Office Manager & Permitting and Outreach Assistant, she manages administrative matters in the New Bedford headquarters and works on projects for multiple teams including permitting, project development, bid development, and fisheries engagement support and research.

Andie graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in June 2019 with a degree in Marine Safety and Environmental Protection and currently resides in Walpole, Massachusetts.

Matthew is a Technical Director, presently managing early-stage technical development. He has 10+ years of experience in offshore wind and a successful track record developing offshore wind projects.

Matthew is a born and raised New Englander and currently resides outside of Boston, Massachusetts.

Chris Rodstrom, Technical Design and Permitting Manager, has over 20-years of permitting, project management and real estate experience in New England. Prior to joining Vineyard Wind, Chris developed and secured permits for large-scale community solar projects as the Director of Real Estate and Permitting at Clean Energy Collective. Chris also worked at Eversource Energy on the development, siting, permitting and construction of numerous complex electric transmission and substation projects throughout Eastern Massachusetts. Before transitioning to the energy field, Chris worked on a variety of biodiversity conservation projects in Asia, Africa and South America for Conservation International and land conservation efforts throughout Massachusetts with The Trustees of Reservations.

Chris has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Clark University and a master’s degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies in Environmental Management.

Marine Liaison Officer Jeannot Smith came to Vineyard Wind after a career in the United States Coast Guard. During his time in the Coast Guard he worked throughout the United States focusing on Maritime Search and Rescue, Oil Spill Response, and Disaster relief efforts. He most recently served as the Deputy Sector Commander for Sector Southeastern New England based out of Woods Hole, MA. Prior to the Coast Guard he earned a Master Degree in Marine Management from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he focused on Integrated Marine and Coastal Zone Management. He grew up in New York City and currently resides with his wife and two children in East Falmouth, Massachusetts.
